Efforts of laboratory animal welfare
In order to maintain the health of animals in the world, it is necessary to develop medicines for each animal species.We are using experimental animals to evaluate the effectiveness, safety and quality of veterinary drugs. However, welfare for the experimental animal is also important, and in compliance with the principle of 3R, Shokukanken strives to comply with the law, guidelines of the Japan Experimental Animal Association and internal regulations and regulations, to maintain the proper breeding environment of laboratory animals.
Shokukanken also frequently conduct training on animal welfare for breeding managers outside and inside the company, and we are actively acquiring qualifications of laboratory animal technicians and animal welfare certification. Shokukanken will continue to consider making science of animal welfare and examination compatible in the future.
