Food poisoning caused by S. aureus occured in Iwate

On the 17th, prefectural central health center in Iwate made the restaurant of Takizawa city suspended business for 3 days from the same day.
Four males and females aged 3 to 20 who ate shop ramen, soboro don, etc. complained about symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain. One of them was admitted to the hospital and the remaining three visited the hospital, but all of them were on the recovery trend. As a result of the survey of the public health center, all the patients shared the food commonly eaten at the store's food, and detected toxins of S. aureus from patient's vomit and food remnants. It was concluded that this case was caused by food poisoning by S. aureus.
